Microsoft .NET Developer

AMULET Development Corp. is a growing, Los Angeles-based e-business development firm, founded in 1995. We are a Certified Microsoft Partner, specializing in building web database and e-commerce solutions for a broad client base around the country.

Our main focus is building high-end e-commerce sites and intranet web applications using the Microsoft .NET platform with SQL Server 2000/2005, and Analysis Services. We are expanding our engineering staff resources to accommodate a large client projects.

We are looking for an experienced .NET developer to play an important role with this and other client projects. Must have strong, hands-on experience in building scalable .NET based websites.


Responsibilities:

• Design and develop .NET applications as well as participate in the software design process.
• Help implement development methodologies, standards, procedures and systems.
• Create and review functional and software design specifications. Work with project manager, and client staff to assure that software applications meet feature and performance requirements.
• As a developer, you will program custom front, mid-tier and backend web-based solutions using Microsoft Technologies and troubleshoot existing applications and migrate current applications to .NET.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 + years of hands-on .NET development experience using VB .NET or C#.
• Experienced in successfully building and deploying high-availability and high-load Internet software applications and tiered architectures.
• Strong knowledge in methodologies and tools pertaining to design, implementation, and testing of software products.
• Strong, hands-on experience in building web applications based on Microsoft technologies.
• Hands on development experience with HTML, JavaScript, Visual Studio .NET, ASP, ASP.NET, VB, VB.NET, C# and SQL Server 2000/2005 stored procedures. Firm grasp of database design principles a must.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA programming is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Very organized, high attention to detail and ability to execute projects flawlessly.
• Sense of humor, honesty, strong work ethic, and consistent and organized work habits. MUST be able to work independently.
