At Rampage.com there is a brief four-part information questionnaire to create a
new account. Once established one must only click to log in, view/edit account information,
view order history, or add to wish list. Rampage.com offers an e-mail list option
at the end of the login for customers to receive its bi-weekly newsletter. As part
of its customer service efforts and visionary approach, Rampage also offers a club
list of the ten most happening clubs in thirty major cities in the U.S., providing
not only cutting edge fashions but where to go to show off your hip new look.
AMULET’s Role in Development
AMULET shall provide Web software development services in providing enhanced database
and e-commerce functionality, including back-office EDI order fulfillment processing,
using the Cold Fusion environment that resides on the multiple Windows NT servers
supporting the Rampage site. In addition, AMULET staff will act as database administrators
for the Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 database back-end. Finally, AMULET was contracted
to remotely monitor the operation of the site and make necessary optimizations for
better performance and scalability.
A Word from AMULET’S CEO
AMULET’s CEO, Dan D. Gutierrez, looks at the Rampage site participation as an important
forward step. "Our emphasis is to capitalize on our strong background in Web databases
and e-commerce. By taking the reins of Rampage.com, we’ve taken a strategic move
