Los Angeles, Calif. -- AMULET Development Corp. is pleased to announce the launch of the NWQ Insider intranet for Los Angeles based NWQ Investment Management Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Nuveen Investments, Inc. The intranet serves as a centralized portal for current and future enterprise-wide software applications. The first intranet application that was developed for NWQ Insider is the Stock Updates application which allows the Client Servicing department to communicate portfolio strategies and related information to portfolio advisors out in the field. The portfolio advisors would then be able to use this information to sell to new clients or cross sell and inform existing clients of their portfolio’s performance. The intranet framework is flexible and extensible, allowing new and yet unforeseen applications to be added to the portal. Many new enterprise applications are planned for the intranet in the future.

AMULET developed the NWQ Insider as a showcase of Microsoft web and database technologies including: Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft IIS web server, SQL Server 2000 relational database, Visual Studio development environment, and custom programming using the .NET Framework. AMULET provided graphic design and user interface design services for the look-and-feel elements of the site.

AMULET also built a custom secure administrative website for NWQ management personnel to administer the data content of the intranet and associated applications. The intranet framework and applications are all Sarbanes/Oxley compliant for complete historical audits.
